Sam is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 20 years of experience working in the NHS services within CAMHS, as well as working privately to offer Autism assessments. He has a vast amount of experience working with young people and their families within an inpatient setting and whilst working in the community.
Sam’s expertise currently lies within the assessment processes for both Mental Health conditions and Neurodevelopmental differences, having set up and led assessment services within the NHS for the past 5 years. Sam is passionate about offering outstanding services to children, young people and their families looking for support and has years of experience helping families navigate the assessment process.
As well as his passion for his profession, Sam is a UEFA C licensed coach and is a dedicated local grassroots and Junior Premier League football coach having spent the last 7 years managing U8s up to U15s. He loves supporting the youth development phase and watching young people thrive in that environment. Sam is an ex-semi-pro footballer who played non-league for some local teams and when he’s able he still plays football, however, it takes a lot longer to recover after a game these days. He also loves spending time with his family and strives to live every day to it’s fullest, spending time on holidays, going to the beach/forest and walking his dog whenever possible.
