Born in Egypt and originally from Sudan, Dr Ali has benefited for living, studying and working in diverse environments, including the United States, Sudan, the Slovak Republic, Ireland, and the UK. This rich cultural background has shaped his inclusive and adaptable approach, enabling Khalid to connect with individuals from all walks of life.

As a proud parent of two beloved children, Khalid values the importance of family and balance in life. Outside of his professional role, Khalid enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and following his favourite sports, including football, basketball, and the NFL. His global perspective, formed from many multicultural experiences and his dedication and passion to mental health allows Khalid to offer a supportive and empathetic space for young people and their families on their path to well-being.
