This is a face to face appointment with Julie, an experienced, qualified travel nurse who will review your travel plans and advise which vaccinations you will need to protect you during your holiday. Please bring along a record of your previous vaccinations so she can advise if you only require a booster.
As well as discussing travel vaccinations Julie can advise other ways to keep safe during your holiday, and will be able to answer questions such as, ‘Is the water safe to drink?’ or ‘Will I be bothered by mosquitoes?’.
We offer two appointments lengths: 30 minutes (suitable for 1-2 people travelling together) or 60 minutes (suitable for a family travelling together).
Once you’ve booked your Travel Risk Assessment appointment, you will be sent an appointment confirmation email. Contained within that email is a link to your Travel Risk Assessment questionnaire (only one needs to be completed for the party of travellers).
If you already know the vaccination(s) you need for your holiday, you can simply book in for a ‘Travel Vaccinations ONLY’ appointment with Julie.
You will only be charged for the vaccinations you require. You will not be charged for the nurse appointment to administer them.

We also offer malaria prophylaxis medication via private prescriptions at a cost of £25.00. There will be a charge at the pharmacy for the medication itself.
Haven Medical is a designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre (YFVC). The Yellow Fever vaccine can only be given at designated YFVCs.
Our Travel Nurse has completed hours of training in order for Haven Medical to achieve this status.
Some countries require a certificate to show you have been vaccinated against Yellow Fever before they will grant you entry
