Sam is a highly Specialist Clinical Physiologist – Neurophysiology based in Dorset. After achieving a BSc in Clinical Neurophysiology in 2013, Sam began his career at Poole Hospital where he continues to work today.

With 10 years of clinical experience behind him, Sam is competent in a range of specialist neurophysiological techniques such as Electroencephalogram (EEG) and nerve conduction studies.

Services Sam offers at Haven Medical include:

• EEG (paediatric and adult)
• Nerve Conduction Studies to support in the diagnosis and management of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Ulnar nerve entrapments at the elbow
• EMG Guidance for the administration of laryngeal neuromuscular blocking medications

When not seeing patients, Sam’s IT and Clinical Governance Lead role involves ensuring robust and reliable IT links are maintained, pushing forward new innovative IT projects and ensuring local and Government legislation and regulations are adhered to.
