Ekta has worked as a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist in NHS for more than 5 years. Ekta has passion and commitment to deliver high-quality patient care. Ekta’s clinical practice involves discussing with patients and their carers/family members and developing a collaborative decision.

Ekta has expertise in assessing and treating variety of mental health disorder like Psychotic illnesses, depression, anxiety and Bipolar affective disorders to name a few. Further, she has expertise in assessing and treating neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Autistic spectrum disorders. Ekta also has experience in medical management and service development related issues and understands the interphase between primary care, secondary healthcare and private healthcare.

Ekta also specifically has an interest in medical training, teaching and education.

Ekta aims to have a good work life balance. Outside work commitments, in her own time Ekta pursues countryside walking, playing badminton and singing.
