Dr Caroline Morgan BM (hons) DM FRCP
Dr Morgan is an experienced NHS consultant in Dermatology. She qualified from Southampton Medical School in 1994 with a bachelor of medicine with honours. After junior doctor jobs, she undertook a 2 year period of research into the skin absorption of drugs. She was awarded the Doctorate of Medicine in 2001, after which she joined the Wessex Dermatology Registrar training programme.
Dr Morgan became a consultant dermatologist in 2006, practising at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, having spent the year before this in Australia specialising in skin cancer and dermatological surgery.
As well as being a very experienced dermatologist in practice, Dr. Morgan has written several research papers on drug absorption and skin cancer for which she has won awards from the British Association of Dermatologists and the British Society for Investigative Dermatology.
Dr. Morgan is a member of: The British Association of Dermatologists, British Society of Dermatological Surgery, British Medical Association, Fellow of Royal College of Physicians
Dr. Morgan treats all aspects of adult dermatology including the management of skin cancer. She is the lead dermatologist for skin cancer at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
She was co-founder of Dorset Dermatology Clinics in 2008 and her private practice is based at The Harbour Hospital Poole and Haven Medical Canford Cliffs
